As a Regional Manager she oversaw over 3000 home sites across Texas. Aimee turned around underperforming communities in her region, as well as dramatically improved net income at stabilized properties.
An example of her success was her impact on the largest holding in the company, at 738 sites. Within the first year, the community went from 10 sales per year to more than 60 and became one of the top five highest-performing properties in the portfolio. She also oversaw the delivery, installation and occupancy of more than 200 brand new homes in her region as well as two expansion projects at two different communities. Aimee consistently maintained the highest NOI over budget, highest occupancy gain and lowest delinquency numbers in the company. Her region was the recipient of 3 MHI National Awards, most recently being the MHI 2017 National Community of the Year.
She also developed an expertise in capital projects. During her time as Regional Manager, she designed and oversaw the installation of the first-ever water park in a YES Community, a 1-acre dog park with agility equipment, several playground systems and even a $100,000 office remodel project to maximize resident retention.
After years of success with YES Communities, Aimee joined RV Horizons – the nation’s fifth largest portfolio -- as the Regional Vice President over the Texas, Florida, and North and South Carolinas regions. She completely restructured the Texas region and hired an entirely new staff, setting tough performance metrics. Each month the delinquency rate declined substantially, dropping from an average of 18% to 2.1% monthly.
She also focused on resident retention and reduced the number of move-outs that occurred in the region to single digits out of more than 3700 sites. In less than a year the average sales price of a home went from $3500 to $26,000 and the number of sales each month doubled. Aimee also successfully reduced the overtime hours across the region by more than $20,000 per month through manager accountability and better staffing. She continually led the company in occupancy gain, collections percentage, and dollar value of homes sold. In December of 2018 Aimee’s region was awarded with the Top Community Manager Award, Top Area Manager Award, Top Maintenance Manager Award and Top District Manager Award.
